"It really is Delphine's personal journey to ask and answer questions about the representation of bodies, particularly black female bodies in photography," said Hirsch "and the history of extraction, exploitation, sexualization, and how she can kind of turn that on its head and reclaim agency for herself, for her own body and for the subjects that she portrays." The Taubman is open to the public Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
